Chintpurni, Jwalamukhi, and Hadimba Temple

Day 01: Arrival in Dharamshala/Pathankot – Transfer to Chintpurni

Arrive at Dharamshala or Pathankot, which are the nearest railway stations. After you arrive, transfer to Chintpurni, which takes about 2-3 hours. Once you reach Chintpurni, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the evening, head to the famous Chintpurni Temple, dedicated to Goddess Chintpurni. The temple offers a serene and spiritual experience, and you'll be able to explore the surroundings and participate in the evening prayers. Stay overnight in a guesthouse or hotel near the temple.

 

Day 02: Chintpurni to Jwalamukhi and Local Exploration

After breakfast, leave for Jwalamukhi Temple, located around 45 minutes to 1 hour away from Chintpurni. Jwalamukhi Temple is a revered place, dedicated to Goddess Jwalamukhi, and is known for its natural gas flames, which are considered to be manifestations of the goddess herself. Spend time here, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere. For lunch, enjoy a local meal in Jwalamukhi. In the afternoon, you can explore the surroundings or visit the nearby Pong Dam for scenic views. Return to Dharamshala in the evening, or stay overnight in Jwalamukhi, depending on your preference.

Day 03: Dharamshala – Hadimba Temple and Local Sightseeing

Starts with a morning departure for Dharamshala, if you stayed in Jwalamukhi. The journey will take about 2-3 hours. After checking into your hotel in Dharamshala, you can have a hearty breakfast. Then, visit the iconic Hadimba Temple in Manali, which is about a 2-hour drive away. The temple is nestled amidst beautiful cedar forests and is dedicated to Goddess Hidimbi. It is famous for its unique architecture and peaceful ambiance. After exploring the temple, you can have lunch at a nearby café in Manali and then explore other attractions such as Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass, or simply stroll through the local markets. In the evening, relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. You’ll stay overnight in Dharamshala or Manali.

Day 04: Dharamshala – Hadimba Temple and Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. If you have some extra time, you can visit local attractions or shop in Dharamshala or Manali before proceeding to the nearest railway station or airport for your departure. This itinerary gives you a good mix of spiritual visits and time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. You can adjust the days and activities depending on how much time you have and your personal interests.
